Grief Peer Support

H2O Healing Hangout

A community actively supporting each other's mental well-being — building the healthy habits and coping skills that carry us through grief, together.

What It Is

Peer support, born from the book's mission

H2O Healing Hangout grew directly out of the mission behind Suicide & Sequins: no one should have to walk through suicide loss or crisis alone. It's an informal, judgment-free gathering space for people navigating life's difficulties — where the hard stuff is welcome, and so is laughter, when it shows up.

If someone is finding themselves in crisis and needs to bridge the gap between now and professional help, this hangout is for you. This is also a great place for someone looking to develop their coping skills.

Why "H2O"

Two H's, one O

Water is the essence of life. Jenny believes community is the essence of life. H2O is a reminder to find, develop, and nurture your community. It is a needed element for life.

What We're Building

Coping skills, built together

H2O teaches life coping skills through structured, constructive, loving peer-support groups where people can talk through crisis and life struggles in a healing way. Here's what the program is being built to offer:

  • Trained volunteers who guide each group with care and consistency.
  • A referral network of partner professionals offering complimentary clinical support.
  • Potential funding toward medical expenses, based on financial need.
From Pain to Purpose

After walking through profound, compounded loss of her own — including sudden tragedy and suicide grief — Jenny made a choice to turn pain into purpose. No one should have to carry that weight alone. That belief is what H2O is built on. Read Jenny's full story →
